So I took my son Daniel on vacation to Fernley, NV. As suggested by my wonderful Uncle since he works for Delta I should pay for buddy passes. Heck why not cheaper might get pushed one flight $500. Oh why not I have ten days "I thought".


Friday Feb 15th ~ arrived at BGR International at 3a.m. ready to fly out at 6:10 a.m.

Flight is full next available flight is at 3:20p.m.

Caught flight from BGR to Boston was supposed to fly to

Salt Lake City HAHAHA!! Paid extra $124 to stay the night in Atlanta, GA. Got lost trying to find my way out of the Atlanta Airport. Paid for Hotel Room at the Hampton Inn $109 for the night

Saturday Feb 16th ~ Woke up at the ass crack of Dawn shuttled to the airport and finally

Got on the plane to Sacramento, CA. I was supposed to fly to Reno but there was not way it was going to happen.

Jessica meets us at the airport and we drive 3 hours back to her house in Fernley, NV.

Sunday Feb 17th – 20th ~ we drive to San Francisco put 1000 miles on her car got to see

just about everything we wanted in Cali. It was fun.

Friday Feb 22nd ~ Drove to Reno and hung out at what I call the giant mall of casinos and

Bars located in the circus circus. I had a blast tried my first Volcano Bowl and flaming 151. Scooby snack shots. Yum

Sunday Feb 24th ~ Wake up at 4am drive to Reno Airport just to turn back around

because all flights are booked. So they reschedule me for the next day. Watched Heartbreak kid (naughty movie).

Monday Feb. 25th ~ Wake up at 4am to go to Reno the flight I need to catch at 6:10 was

full. I then had my flights changed to fly to Atlanta instead of salt lake. Left on the plane at 8:30 am.

Arrive to Atlanta and there were no flights available for us to catch to Boston got on the phone and a lady gave me heads up about a flight to DC Reagan Airport. So I changed the flight and by the skin of my teeth got on the flight. Apparently I was not supposed to.

Arrived in DC at 6:30pm just in time to hear my last name called to gate 22 and I was at gate 19 but had to screw with security , ran for my life with my boy bare foot to the gate and they were about to leave when she asked if I was Michaels. We made it. Arrived in Boston by 8:30 to find out I missed the last flight to Bangor and the next one was Tuesday at 1:30pm. LOL screw that so I rented a car and was on the road by 10:30pm and arrived at home by 2:00am.



Please take this as a lesson to learn:


1. Never fly stand by

2. never fly stand by with your child

3. NEVER FLY STAND BY

I know some of you not all cuz I am sure half of you forgot I even walked the earth. Are probally wondering whatever happened to Tamurai.... I have been one busy lady. I own three business, webdesign, childcare and photography. So I have no free time really. except for maybe naptime. LOL. i miss coming here.
